AI Won’t Replace Talent of people, but it will completely transform the extent of thinking costs. In the same way that the internet rendered info inexpensively and fast, AI will render mental work the same way.

Leaders must not consider the question of whether they need AI, the question is where are they already thinking in their company because that is precisely where AI can intervene.

Rewiring Business Architecture

The picture that researchers witness in AI-first companies is rather wild. The entire business structure; its model, the value creation process, its value capture, the daily operations, etc. are all wired up in a different way thanks to machine learning, AI, and digital technologies.

Think about Google. Virtually everything is automated ads you watch, you get in search results, your use of Gmail. It is not humans being like this, it is algorithms.

This is the same case with large e-commerce platforms, such as Amazon, Alibaba, and Netflix. These locations operate differently. Algorithms and machines are central. All the work is automated. Human beings only create, experiment, evaluate, and maintain the algorithms within a certain threshold- but machines are the actual ones that do the actual transactions.

You are already living in an AI Age

Most companies have no option but to make  AI and Human Talent the most important part. Our personal lives are already being operated through consumer tech and smartphones in many ways.

Consider the way people anticipate ride-share applications to operate. In case a car does not come in three minutes, it is irritating. It's easy to press a button and it makes sense. And when something goes wrong, on a platform such as Amazon or Uber, the conflict will be sorted automatically.

However, it is those same individuals, even executives who when they have returned to work in their own companies are okay when customer service delays a couple of weeks or a new vendor loads six months to board. Talent transformation with AI  is an odd dividing line, as consumers receive AI-first benefits on large websites, only to run into the arms of those organizations that have not yet adopted it.

Tech is not the only issue. Tech constitutes approximately 30 per cent of the problem. The remaining 70 per cent is concerning the running of the whole org. Each boss and worker must have a digital mindset of understanding how these techs work and how to implement them and the steps of change necessary to utilize them to their fullest extent.

Raising the Bar on Customer Experience

Speaking of Future of Jobs with AI, when individuals log on to a site and expect to see stuff being searched, they think about Google-like search. That’s the new standard. Our experiences with the best AI-driven platforms are habitual, and thus, we take them everywhere.

Human intelligence vs artificial intelligence will not take the place of talent, but it will raise the antecedent of what talent will need to do. Leaders who seize AI, acquire its power, and develop realistic applications in their companies will address those increasing demands. Where can you plug it in? Well, where do you think?
